PostHeaderIcon StylesbyClaudia.com – Zoolander’s inspiration?

Funny that commentators point out similarities between John Galliano and the Zoolander fashion designer Mugatu. Galliano 2000 chic couture collection inspired by homeless people that line the Seine River where he jogs is quite similar to the 2001 movie’s “Derelicte” homeless fashion show.

PostHeaderIcon StylesbyClaudia.com – Educational DVD

As my career has grown so have those who not only stood by me, with great support, but those who saw my potential and pushed me to aim higher. This past week was what I would call a pushing week! Out of my comfort zone and any other zone for that mater I was filmed and questioned. This was done by Phil Stone of ReWiredHair.com, a former international educator for Rusk and one who has immersed himself in the film world.

Included in the film crew is friend and director of the upcoming documentary The Real Hair Truth, Joseph Kellner and Dan Cunningham. These wonderful people along with photographers, models and assistants help to put my story of how I came to this great country and how Ive grown in this industry on film.

If great men have said of themselves that “No man is an island” I know that Im no better since I have done what Ive done and gotten to where I am as the result of many kind, caring and people much more intelligent than me.

Thank you!!!

PostHeaderIcon StylesbyClaudia.com – Video Shoot with Phil Stone

Well the shoot was great! Exhausting but great. I had the opportunity to demonstrate different cuts and colors (Using Loreal INOA) and then the models were photographed by La’Niece of Tlaniecephotography.  Phil Stone of Rewired Hair, directed the filming and along with Dan Cunningham, took care of the videography and Joseph Kellner of The Real Hair Truth did the makeup. The first day was focused on three models then the second day was one short haircut demonstration and then Dan, my husband, and I were interviewed about how I became involved with this industry. It was so nice to work on a set that everyone got along so well and had  a lot of fun doing it.
